Make sure you have gather add-on turned on so you can recall where your nods are that you have farmed and that other people in your guild have farmed
Most of your nods you will find buy making a path around the zone walls. the way i do is pick you start piont and just fallow the wall heading right all the way around till you are back at your start point. there are nods that pop up all over the place inside the but this is the fastest way to find them. also make sure you go into ever cave in the arena
Minning
you can do one of two thing with the ore, one sale it in ah ore usually goes for more then bars but not always so make sure you check or two you can smelt it with will help you lvl fast and sale the bars or use it to lvl another prof
Copper- 1-65
Alliance
Human-Elwynn Forest Elwynn- the forest isn't surrounded by mountains on all 4 sides so fallow your rivers around the outside of zone, there is not a whole lot of nods around the rivers but you will see a few pop
.
Dwarfs & Gnomes-Dun Morogh. this place is full of mining nods. in my opinion the best place to farm copper, just fallow the mouton wall, and caves and you are set here
Night Elves - Darkshore- this place is huge, it will take a while to minning, but there is a lot to mine here, you will just to have a bit of patents
Draenei - Azuremyst isle- Make sure you hit the caves. they have a good amount of nods in them
Hord-
Undead - Tirisfal Glades- make sure you watch you path here some of the mobs might be to high lvl for you so stay where you know you will be safe
Tauren - Mulgore = if you are low in lvl stay out of the caves. other then that your agro should not be a big problem seeing you staying on the outside edge
Orc & Troll - Durotar- this place has a lot of nods all over the place, but is a pain the butt when trying to lvl, and takes a good amount of time
Blood Elves - Eversong Woods - This route is the simplest route to follow. There are other mines near West Sanctum and West of Sunsail Anchorage but if you're looking for simplicity this is the route to take. The Deadscar is loaded with mines
65-125 Tin and Silver
the barrens- is the best sport for this it has tons of both and easy to farm. this is the place to hit for sure
Wetlands- there is a mine that has tons and tons of blood ore nods. witch are there for a quest, you can not smelt or ah these things but it is a fast way to lvling minning
126-175 Iron and Gold
Arathi Highlands- good mining area. This is where I mined. Be sure to check caves!
Thousand Needles-You could also do the Thousand Needles route, it's one big loop into the Shimmering Flights. There are two caves on the route that you want to make sure you hit up.
Stranglethorn Vale- this place has 3 caves that are wroth going into, it is good to mine if lvling as there are tons of mobs. if your not lvling the mobs get old fast
176-250 Mithril and Truesilver-
Searing Gorge is full of Mithril and has some Dark Iron (lvl 230 mining)
The Hinterlands- this place is good, but a bit slow to mine
Badlands-You will want to spend most of your time in the eastern loop or in the cave in the south west.
Tanaris- this is along run, but make sure you also jump down in cavers, and hives here
251-300 Thorium and Mithril-
Burning Stepps- is my favorite mining spot for Thorium.
UnGoro Crater- one of the most highly competitive zones known to the gold farmers (or used to be).
Winterspring-There north cave map is a full cave system that you can go in to, the bottom cave is just very small caves but thorium spawns in that area, the bottom left comer is filled with elite mobs so be careful there
Silithus- make sure you go in to the tunnel system
300-325 Fel Iron-
Hellfire- is the very best for Fel Iron.
at least on my sever the still sale for good amount because they are not farmed much anymore
325-350 Adamantite Ore-
Nagrand- pre Wrath was packed full of people minning mining for Adamantite.now no one goes there so there is a lot for you here.anywhere you look in the zone you can find adamantite veins.
350-400 Cobalt-
The Howling Fjord- is the best for Cobalt.
Zul'Drak- not anywhere close to the howling fjord for cobalt but you can lvl here if you choose to
400-450 Saronite-
Sholazar Basin is THE best. It is crowded though, but it is a miner's heaven due to it's structure
Gold making tools
Anyone out to make gold is going to need a set of tools. this is a list of tools that i use, feel free to add to these if you know any other good ones
1.Add-ons Make

(1) auctioneer http://www.auctioneeraddon.com/dl
(2) CT Mod http://www.ctmod.net/downloads
(3) Gatherer http://www.wow.curse.com/downloads/details/24/
2. Patch notes
Patch notes are your secrets to gold making. look at the notes to see what items are coming out, and what is going to real hot. cheak recipes to farm mats early with so you can toss up on ah as soon as people get the new recipes. it will also tell you what items you have up in AH right now will drop in price.
I ALWAYS read the patch notes before the patch comes out
3.Professions
professions are fast gold cash ins. you should always have 2 proffs that you are keeping up with and lvling, and all 3 secondary proffs
Websites. there are website that will help you more then anything else out there. filled with info that you can use for gold farming. the best are
(1) wow-Wiki http://www.wowwiki.com
(2) WoWhead http://www.wowhead.com

(4) Curse gaming http://www.curse-gaming.com
4. wow forums.
there is a lot on here that will help you. people post wants, needs, new recipes. new items, hints, tips for that hard to get item . the forums is filled with gold farming help that people don't usually no they are giving
there a four things you will be doing to farm your gold to get as much or as little as you want
and these things are
1. daily quest
2. action house
4 professions
4 grinding
and hopefully with this blog I'm doing. i will be able to help you as much as i can though out you quest.
Most of these tips are for lower levels. Most mistakes are made at lower lvl's because you are very new to the game. Once you level a character it gives you the basic knowledge of the games mechanics and you don't keep making the same mistakes
DO NOT hack, bot, scam, exploit or ninja
as this will ruin you reputation and in some case will get your account banned. most hacks do not work and are just programs created by key loggers wanting to still your account or what ever else they can get. blizzard bans people right and left everyday for bots. so be warn they will catch you if you bot in game.
I do not support any of these in any way shape or form. there are other ways to make gold just as fast with out losing you account
if you do scam or ninja it may not run your account, but people are happy to go yelling in trade chat what you did, bring your reputation down. making harder to find and group, make friends, get in to a good guild, and hinders you gold making
no one respects a cheater.
I say just don't do it, it is not wroth your time and effort.
now on to the good stuff
Mistake 1 not looting stuff you don't need
the most common mistake made by players is only looting what they need for example a rouge not looting water because he cant use it. or a gray item that can;t be used are left on the mob
this is a huge mistake you need to loot everything that drops. this means you will need a lot of bag space this is the only thing a low lvl needs to upgrade as soon as he/she cans is bags. if you do this you are able to start getting a good amount of gold at low low lvl's
when you first get few pieces of gold it should go right into bigger bags and more of them. it will giver longer you can be out there questing and looting.
every time your bags are full EVERY TIME ( don't go dropping items to make room for others. finish the quest you are doing head back to town or mail box and empty you bags. sale everything you don't need to the vendor. every small items you pick up i don't care if it only sales for 1 copper sale it
Tip 2 Mule
A mule is a charter that stores and carry's items. its that simple..
when you first start out you will get some greens, blues, mats and other items like that, and you wont know what to do with them right off hand. some may be vendor trash, some disenchant others action house, but you wont always know right then. when your looting, vendor and using the action house all on one toon you will not be able to pick up all loot because you will not have the bag and bank spots needed
instead of always running to ah, and vendor every time you fill up. just male to your mule and worries about tossing them on ah later that day
after you are done questing and grinding for the day
every sever you play on should have a mule, this gives extra row of bags, another bank and even unlimited space in your mail box for like 25 days, so say you have a huge surplus of enchanting mats or herbs you need to lvl your poff at a later lvl you can send them to your mule and leave in the mail for the next 25 days with out worrying about it and they wont be taking up your bag space
and when you ready for them is hit the return button to send to your main that easy.
tip 3 upgrade
you relay don't need to upgrade at low lvl's ( unless your a twink) you blow thought gear so fast the quest and drops you get should keep you gear enough to keep lvling. buying up grades at low lvl is just a waste of gold and time this goes for lvls 1-35. your survivability comes from your abilities not from gear
a lot of low lvl players waste there gold on that will be upgraded in a few lvl just by a quest or a instant run don't be one of them.
tip 4 professions.
you want to pick your poff at lvl 5 that is as soon as you can. they are grate way to start making income. being a new player you want to stay away from crafting proffs because they cost a lot of gold to lvl up. you can make a lot of gold by having to gathering proffs like
skinning
mining
herbalism
when you get these proff just gather the items as you see them when you out questing don't waist time in hunting for them. every time you gather, save it and stack it up until you get a full stack full stacks sale better because no wants to buy 1 or 2 of item like ore when they need 20, 40 or more
once you get full stacks post them in ah you will a lot of gold by doing this
tip 4 go lvl
do spend all your time grinding for gold and other item,s go lvl it is easy to make gold at low lvl but faster more fun and easier at lvl 80.
so get out there have fun and lvl
