The funny thing was that when we first entered "someone" will not mention names haha entered the wrong instance and went to daytime Zaken 58+ instead of the new one. It ended up with all the party Petrified when we got to Zaken and he spawned. After my laughter had stopped and we had waited for the instance to reset we entered the correct one. One thing here that I didn't know is a tactic to see were Zaken is with out running around lighting candles and checking all the rooms, is to let one person run around in all the rooms and let the him do a AoE attack, if it says "Zaken has resisted the attack" he have entered the correct room and the raid party can move to that room. This cuts a lot of time with rebuffing and fighting silly minions spawning in the wrong rooms. Just let the party's wait at the start and when the person that does the AoE attacks found the room he just tell were he is and all can move there and buff up. After we killed Zaken he dropped pretty good items. But sadly no Zaken earring. Was some Moirai items , Vesper items and 6 people got Vorpal rings placed in the inventory. As we all archers know Mithril Mines was a real turn down and just not worth the time down there, crappy xp and crappy drops. So my expectations for the rewamping of Plains of Lizardmen was not very high. But I got to say I am gladly suprised, I spent roughly 3 hours there today testing out the different monsters and what to do and what not to do. First of the XP is ok, it's roughly 25 - 35k per monster on vit 0 so solo with a boxed PP the XP was somewhere around 90 - 100k per monster. With all the Area archer buffs one get there one crits really hard, and can one and two shoot many of the monsters. Some monsters are a lot tougher for me atleast as I am only level 80 and it's a level 83 area. But what is great is that the Moirai ( think it's called? ) drop a lot there, under the 3 hours I think I got roughly 10 - 15 pieces of different armor's and 1 Recipe: Moirai Necklace 60%. Sadly for me the quests one get in the area are 82+ so I got to wait a bit to take them, but over all the new rewamp is a success for me. When I first heard about the "grass is greener on the other side" servers, I was reading about it on Elliebelly about there Autoban system that "should" make it harder for people to cheat - like botting and using radar ingame, if this is true or not I don't know becuse I dident check it out long enough on the servers to actually see it. But first I downloaded the client from the offical russian website http://l2.ru/ and created an account on there sister site https://my.4game.ru/hello.html?serviceId=6&utm_source=l2_ru&utm_medium=link&utm_content=download&did= Using google translate tool bar this was hardly any problem as the translation works very well, After I had downloaded the client I started it up and I had to download a started program from 4game to get Lineage2 going. As Lineage2 started up it promted that I was not in the right location to play on these servers, but this was easy with just going in to your control panel and switching the location to Russia instead of mine Sweden. So when I started it up this time I started like a charm, but ofc everything was in Russian so I had to fix that to, and as I had the English client on my computer I just replaced the files in the system folders that had the -ru extension with the english client files that had the -e extension and then the interface and almost everything was turned in to English, I got everything in to English expet the NPC's dialogs, I am sure this can be exchanged to but I dident wanna put to much time and effort in to it as I only wanted to check it out. The first thing I noticed when I logged in to the Lineage2 russian servers was ofc the new Interface bar for there Micro-transactions button. *Stones the Increase the Enchant rates of weapons. *Tickets that do so you can enter Kamaloka more then one time aday. *5 hour buff pet. One thing that that I also noticed is that all these screenshots was not saved in the system folder but in a screenshot folder, Don't know if this is a Russian thing or will come with Freya to NA/EU to. After I had looked around in the itemshop I decided to do the Wooden armor quest, and even if I dident understand Russian I had done it so many times before it was no issue, and the arrows pointed me were to go. I did all the started quests and ended up on level 20, I even meet a russian person that buffed me and laughed and wondered what I was doing there as I was no Russian. After I dinged I decided to go and check the major towns like Giran and Aden, So I toke the gatekeeper there, and the towns were jammed packed with people, if I think Teon is busy this had 5 times more people in it, and the prices were extremly cheap, like Soulbow 15M, IC Gaites 6M etc. As someone told me that on the Russian servers "if" you have all the extra xp boost items and the Premium account one get 9 times more xp then the NA/EU servers, So even if the serverI was on Desperion was only 3 weeks old I saw people in Destiny Set's. They also had many if not all features that NA/EU dont have activated. The Russian servers seem solid and good from what I could tell, but It dont have KJ or my friends, and I don't fell like starting over so these servers is not an option for me atm. I do wish that NCsoft implemented this on the NA/EU servers as I can really see Lineage2 having a re-birth on our servers then, here is some good and bad things listed. Good things Lineage 2 is 100% free if you wish. There is a Premium account, that makes you get 100% more xp and more drops. the item mall seems to have alot of goodies in it. The servers are alot more populated. Bad things With Free accounts comes ALOT of spammers in the towns. I followed around poor Gogfather that was tired from the 2 weeks of event grinding but was kind enough to make the most of my birthday buff. In two days 5 hours the first and 7 hours the second I made roughly 25 - 27% on level 79, I atleast think that is an azome grind. I ended on roughly 88% after the birthday buff ran out and I am now doing the rest the slow way, I still have 19 vita pops left after the event so it shouldent take more then a week in my slow pace. I would get it sooner but I really need to do some rl stuff that I put on the side becuse of this event. I have also have some very fun sieges against Inqusition,X ,SH, SL and BS, most people out gear me and outlevel me by far as I still havent even reached S80 but it is still a blast becuse sieges wouldent be fun with out enemys. So here I am now 10% from 80 and getting adena for new Gear, I have my TW jewels waiting for me in WH and collecting Elemental stones to get Full 60/60/60 as soon as Freya hits offical server, if that now ever will happen. My son has been wanting to play Super Mario Sunshine for ages, but as this is a gamecube game and It is not sold in any store I haven't got around to it until now. I got it on a Swedish site called Tradera basically a site like Ebay. I got it in the mail this morning and my son was very happy. So I turned on the wii console and started the gamecube game, but as soon as the game started with the trailer the wii remote stopped working. First thought was ok its the batteries because they were low, so I go out in the rain down to the store and buys a new pair of batteries, come home and change them and the wii remote STILL doesn't work. So I thought well I Google it some more, and after some searching I find out I can't use the wii remote to the gamecube games, what the hell? They launch the Nintendo Wii with the information that it can run Nintendo Cube games only to find out you need to buy another controller. So I am now either forced to to buy a controller AND as I also find out a memory card for the Nintendo Wii as apparently one can't even save Nintendo Cube games on the Nintendo Wii, and a Controller and a memory card is about the same money as a buying an entire Gamecube on Tradera. So were shall I start, I will try at the beginning. For about 3 weeks ago I was very very close to re-roll my subclass Spellhowler once more just to be able to play something else. But as you know I have re rolled about 10 - 15 subclasses already so I decided to make and alt instead. The alt I created was given the Epic name of MrPancakes, that's a name that will indu fear on to anyone on the battlefield for sure. I had a blast with him having parties every other day in cruma tower or some deep catacomb crawling for hours, but sadly I struck me there was no chance in bloody hell I would level this one up to 80 to participate in pvp and events. That would just take way to much time of me. As I grew tired of the game I decided that I would give my main class a Sagittarius a fair shoot and get it to level 80 atleast, then of to 83. With this decision I also had to get a clan that had more fun for my class and that meant sadly to leave my clan Unity. Even if the clan KJ was the first clan that came to mind I wanted to be 100% sure that this was the right choice so I had a real thinker. But as I already have had archer party on Fridays with KJ and my gf is on the clan and many friends the choice was pretty clear. So after I made my choice I thought I might try to get the Sagittarius abit better. First I decided that to enchant some skills I am not very high level so +10 is the highest I get ATM, but I now have successfully enchanted to my joy hehe Stunshot+10 chance Bow Mastery+10 Swiftness Quick step+10 Power Archery +1 power ( it was 48% chance or something I just had to try haha ) Light Armor Mastery+7 Power ( ran out of SP ) I also wanted to get a new Augment for my Draconic bow +7 and after many Lifestones lv.76 I got the skill "Refresh" it is a 1 minute buff that decreases the re-use time of my skills by 5 seconds ( roughly ) ofc this made me very happy And to top things of I also ordered a sexchange from NCsoft to get back my pee pee that was chopped of along time ago, I am not sure if NC have kept in the freezer or anything but after the downtime it was back. And late last night Bobda gave me a party invite and to hunt with him in Forge of the gods, so I gained a few percent and that was really nice. So here I am . I would like to thank Everyone in Unity for there time, even if we are still friends and on the same server I will miss you in blue chat. So at roguhly 09:15 we started out SH + SE Duo in Vos, and ended at 13:45. We did this nonestop with no brakes and having his WC buff us and bringing Bbsps and Cursed bones. I brought my Kookaburra from level 49 to level 55, and toke my Spellhowler class from level 58 to level 60. This is with the setup Saggitarius in transformation and Buffalo level 65 running after me. First of I was in Dark Omens catacomb as we know Ancient Adena is worth alot, atleast on Teon server. I could easily solo there, cleaning a room with no problems, got roughly 18 - 20k xp vit 0 per mob there and AA worth 500.000 adena in 30 minutes. Next stop was Den of evil, I was there last night and Akjosch showed me the basics with how to hunt in the villages. This area was a bit harder but if one toke care it was ok. Here I got roughly 22 - 25k per mob and pretty low adena rate. But I got a dynasty mat drops that goes for 600.000a on the market. Next spot was Giants cave, Just tried first mobs and they dident hurt me to much but toke 1 - 2 minutes to kill and gave me 20k xp haha. I also whent back to Silent Valley as I know the xp can be good here. I got roughly 30k xp per mob but here the adena reward absolutly sucks. Anyone have any other good ideas to hunt ? Becuse If one look at the diffrent leveling speeds in the game AoE beats everything by far. But when I read what people had to say about it they were happily suprised ( atleast most of them.) This a MMORPG that will be launched in a F2P service model from Gpotato.com and from my ecperience F2P is usally unfinished old crappy games. But i have to say this one is a shiny gem in a basket of crap of F2P games. So I had to play it on the US servers becuse EU havent started there Open beta yet, so I was expecting some lag. Downloading the client whent pretty fast, roughly 50min~ on my turtle connection of 24Mbit and 15 min to update the game. Started the game and created a human shaman with a bear named Snoogi bear. First of I liked the graphics of the game, it is simple in the 3D put very nicly done in the art department, it has a unique fell to it but still very wowish It started with a Simple tutorial with death and destruction and I had to run around doing simple tasks like kill 3 lab rats (Epic) and a young manticore. Even if it was simple and basicly showed me what ever other tutorial in a MMORPG does it was entertaining. They have hot elfs here to: The tutorial ended with me having to kill som giant beast trying to kill me for some reason. After I killed the giant monster I was transported to something that was called a "abandoned Allod" guess I had to read what the NPC's was saying and be abit more involved in the lore to understand that. The first sight on the Allod was very impressive. I ran around for 30 minutes doing simple tasks like killing crabs? forest lizards? and mighty Deer So the quests seem to be the standard cut and paste like the other games, but I cant say I am suprised. So after while of doing this I instead joined a raid party that ran around killing thought monster on the abandoned Allod. We first meet up on a small forest base. First we killed a standard and pretty lame RB a powerful Deer ( scary I know ) After we killed it seems that if the person getting the drop have a full inventory the item disapears. the guy thought we had ninjad his gear and ran away complaining. beta bugs ftw After the might and epic deer we ran to a cave troll, this RB on the other hand was funny created and very cool. Also here I had my first laugh when someone named "asiandick" ran up to him and gave the cavetroll a smack, just to be 1 hitted and actually flew of the mountain . After we hade laughed a minute we decided to start, and as all good random RB party ends it was a wipe It was still very fun, After this I looked around some more but then closed down the game with the intention to try out the game in full scale when the EU version hits open beta.
