A New Recruit and the Worry that Followed

Published 2010-04-18 by Keseren.

Yeah so earlier today I was contacted by a player in Essence regarding the idea of joining the guild. He mentioned the following:

- level 170 assassin cross

- emperium breaker, dps, and precast build

- previously have played in WoE; last WoE experience was months ago

- can follow orders

- has no problem with cursing in chat

- can log on into Ventrilo when needed.

Now, I have no problem with these details. In fact, the guild is in need of emperium breakers, so that was one of the reasons why I invited him to the guild.

But, upon bringing him to the guild town, one of the people in the guild town (a stalker) had mentioned that they had SEEN this player earlier in today's WoE.

This makes no sense. Someone's story didn't add up.

And it wasn't the person who was the stalker. Proof: he had frapped a video of that day's WoE and uploaded it on YouTube. There is a very clear section where the stalker had attacked the new player during WoE.

The stalker also brought it up asking for confirmation on whether this was that person. And they agreed it was so.

It was a little disconcerting about this matter. I don't think I need to explain why.
