Hey hey and good morning!

Well last night was quite a night :D Nice xp parties all night, little nice drops mainly on my dorfie and Greatoldone and so much fun while doing it!

To sum it up:

- Kookabura Quest: It's a BOY! FINALLY Im mommy of a cute little two headed birdie! YAY! Been wanting it for a long time now, and I managed to get it. I went the cheap way and did the quest, so now I have to level it, but Ive done it before on prive and it rly lvls up kinda fast, so soon I will have my own private buffer birdie! His name is Oddin (obvious pun, huh? lol) and he's rly rly nice and cute... and a bit disobedient cos he wont stay where I put him... :/ But it's ok! I love him, like all my other pets! My inventory is like the Berlin Zoo right now. LOL BTW, if someone wants to be the godfather of my Dino plz let me know :D

oddin

- Kamaloka 53: This fuckin C***sucker is the most difficult kamaloka I have ever done so far...

Maybe the Gludio 29 beats it only by numbers. That dude hit pretty hard! It took us 4 (Fayde, Vindr, Greatoldone, Hayleigh) almost the whole time available to beat it, but to be honest it was so funny trying to avoid the bomber minions! heheheh! My poor poor baby Greatoldone died twice with full HP from critical dmg explosions... However, with me being the healer with my poor and mp devouring battle heal... we made it! woohoo go us! So from now on, please call me Bishop hahahaha!

- Enchanted Valley XP Party: So after "bonding" with each other since we took down the evil kamaloka, we decided to go xp together at EV.

ev

To be honest I love the xp there, but Im tired of people botting there or being dressed in C while being S to kill us... And it has happened twice so far. Anyway, the hell with them, Im fearless *evilgrin*. So we went there, did some xp, by far better than the xp the catas offer, and then boom! Full bot party on our spot :D hehehehe! Those guys were pros in botting! Each character involved in the party had consequent numbers of the alphabet as a title! Im not sure what's the use of that, but it was funny.. I mean, it's ok to bot I guess, I dont even care cos later u wont know how to play, but dont make it THAT obvious! So as soon as we saw them, our fingers started itching for karma!

karma police

Then Vindr said "Im taking them down". And that's exactly what we did! Vindr on the targeting, me on assisting, boom boom pow and the bot party went to village! :D Dont u just LOVE karma xp? heheheheh

- First COV party: Thnx to wonderful Dieter, aka Juliano the Pussymaster (I love ur title heheheh) who came to EV with his WC, we had a few good rounds with full WC buffs including COV! Man this buff kicks so much butt... WTB my own private COVer please! And as Vindr put it, "when I get COV, I believe in Paagrio" mwahahahahah! Please come again Juliano! :D

So yeah... that's my L2 report of the day :) I will enrich it with the right screenshots when I get back home today!

Stay tuned for more!

The story so far...

Published 2010-05-10 by Fayde. Category | Lineage 2

Hi again... got tired of me already? well that's what u get when Im bored at work with a new toy mwahhahah (bang pow lightings, evil laughter and macabre music playing)

OK.. So this post has the solemn intention of showing my first impressions after 2 completed weeks on the Teon Official L2 server.

Like Greatoldone said before on one of his posts, this is not our first time here. We had a SH on Lionna a few years ago (I think it was C5 or Interlude) when the game was not that newbie friendly. For those of u who arent familiar with the previous chronicles, it was basically a tiny bit newbie friendlier than C4 and all the previous ones, since we started getting herbs, a great boost for soloing which was kinda impossible back then.. No xp, no adena, no nothing. THANK God we had an old friend who took our little wannabe mage to Magistri Operum and we got clan armors, adena and stuff for the beginning.

However, it was too tough to follow cos all the other players were already high enough, and we couldnt keep up under no circumstances..

So, we ended up playing on prive servers over and over again, doing countless of times the same old class change quests and trying to level and equip as soon as possible in order to taste a bit of the end game...

George never really got to play endgame with his char, since he had to fulfill his military service obligations, so I was left on the greek BNB prive server all alone, in a small clan, then in a bigger one, facing wars and doing awesome epic boss raids. Then we even got a clan of our own, consisting of friends and people our age (the average player age on bnb was like REALLY low) and right at the point when we finally got out A sets altogether (yes I got my A set at level 77 and it was a dark crystal robe for my stormie), boom! the server is closed down.

A few years and countless prive servers later here we are, all alone, starting allover again on Teon.

(Im gonna say one single thing. IF I ever, EVER have to do the second class change quest for a SH, honestly Im gonna jump out of the window, or cut my veins... so hopefully it's the last time for me)

Two weeks after joining, we dinged 50 and given the fact our jobs kinda suck, I think it's a great progress! So, here are my thoughts on Teon so far:

Rates

I love how the game is rly boosting the xp now and u can get lvled and buffed up pretty fast! If u consider the fact that my last SH was on a prive server with x4 xp and x4 adena and drops and I made it to 59 in 3 weeks, I think this is also pretty possible to do on Teon too. The adena and drop rates can be a huge problem tho cos in that case u lvl up pretty fast, without having the necessary wealth for the equipment of ur grade, but it's ok, been there, done that, I will settle with be when I should be wearing A grade! No prob with me at all :)

Players

Well I have to admit, that on all the fuckin servers Ive played and out of all the clans Ive been, Ive never seen so many good people in one clan. Unity is by far the best clan Ive been and Im having so much fun xping and chatting with u guys. You are all awesome and u made us both feel rly welcome from the very beginning.

Clan aside, the rest of the community is rly the same as in every server. You get to have ur occasional bot (thnx so much on the pk points on both my dorf and sh), your classic bully who wonders around in B while being S just to pk u (gf gf peeps! hope ur dicks have grown an inch now so as to be able to actually see them and pee properly), your classic predator (excuse me, but I need help with this: when a she-male hits on a girl for internet sex talk, doesnt it mean it's a straight guy in denial? Oo), your know-it-all, your poser, your Greek (yes we tend to be our own category, cos we suck in mostly all games as a community. we think we are too good for school, so ignore us), your pimp, your all around good guy and so on...

BUT all in all, I think the official servers have more classy people and even if those categories can be easily found on private servers too, maybe the fact that u actually pay real money for the whole game experience makes u more noble and chivalrious. Id love to hear ur views on that by the way :)

Game Experience

After reading for days about the Gracia update package, I really cant understand why people tend to say that it sucks. It doesnt! I mean let's face it. The last chronicle I played was Hellbound and the differences are devastating! You have a whole new world of options opened up now, so what's there not to like? The new skills? the new features? the instances? the territory wars? the dino pets? WHAT? Let's face it, L2 is a team game, it's real MMORPG (ok it lucks a bit in RP, but new quests and a beautiful lore can actually fill that gap in future updates) and ur main goal is PVP. You cant play it alone by no means. You can get the levels without a clan, but u will never get the gear and u will never get decent pvp. If u dont like that, then ok, go play Warhammer, WoW, Age of Conan (yack) or FFXIV when it comes out :)

Anyway... better stop mumbling now cos this could go on forever.

To sum it up, me and George are having an amazing time on Teon so far, thnx to our wonderful clannies! So thank u all for everything so far (special thnx to Narim or Vindr, Cheda, Ycra, AmeliaLeFay and her AuntieLily (i opws tin lew egw sta ellinika se vlaxiko stul - 8eia Liiiiliiiy Liiiykos), Juliano, Jarvaro, Lihman and of course our lovely leader AKJosch - hope to get to know u better mate :) I guess every single one of u know why Im thanking u. ;) And if Ive forgotten someone, Im sorry, it wasnt deliberate. Oh yes of course! Mr Pancakes for being Swedish and making us all laugh :D

So see u later ingame!

Horror Adventurland revisited...

Published 2010-05-10 by Fayde. Category | Xbox 360

As a HUGE fan of the Silent Hill series, one of the games I mostly wanna play is Alan Wake on my xbox 360. I think aside from FFXIII which I loved

this is is the game I anticipate more than any other since 2009 when the first trailers leaked or surfaced in the internet...

So, what do we have here?

As most reviews state: "Alan Wake is a psychological action thriller from Remedy, the legendary and renowned developers of highly successful action titles. In this exciting new title exclusively for Windows and Xbox 360, gamers assume the role of Alan Wake, a best-selling suspense author who escapes to a small town to recover from the mysterious disappearance of his fiancée."

hmmm does that ring a bell? oh u bet it does... It's totally like the story in SH 2, my favorite in the series, but I doubt it will be as good.

So according to several sources are piled up:

The story will play out in an episodic format, with a television show-style presentation similar to Lost and 24 where each episode/chapter brings another piece to the puzzle of the main plot. Remedy has confirmed that Alan Wake is only the first season of a bigger story, opening the door for future sequels.

Light plays a significant role in gameplay and strategy. The enemies, called "the Taken" in the game, are sensitive to light, encouraging the player to take advantage of environmental light sources and placing significant emphasis on the flashlight as a primary weapon. Players also have the ability to set traps that illuminate when triggered, either damaging or temporarily immobilizing an enemy. They are then destroyed and turned into batteries.

Remedy also promised a free-roam, sandbox-style city, similar to those seen in the Grand Theft Auto series. However, in an interview with Finnish magazine Pelaaja and British magazine Edge, this feature is stated to have been removed, with Remedy opting to focus on a compelling storyline over sandbox-style gameplay. "That being said, this path that the player is on is quite wide at times and all through the game there is a lot for the player to explore, but it's not a free-roaming sandbox," said Sam Lake of Remedy.

Alan Wake features a day/night time cycle. During the day, players may interact with other NPCs to find out more about the town of Bright Falls, Washington.

So, this adventure game, dragging u back into the darkest corners of smalltown urban legends, uses the typical "turn-on-the-flashlight-kill-the-monster" procedure, letting u wonder around a wonderfully haunted landscape, that sends shivers down ur spine and can rly scare u. Yep, that's my cup of tea definitely! (as long as I have someone else with me and the lights are on tho... heheheh). BUT what I dont particularly like is the design.. The models are not THAT good, not as much as I expected. I mean come on, SH 2 was much better and it's already an old game... They could work a bit more on that IMO.

However, u cant rly ignore the amazing job they have done creating the scenery. It's rly creepy and maybe the fact that most of the game takes place outside and in open spaces, maybe this makes up for the poorer graphix on the actual characters...

I like the fact that on the first trailer u get to think that it has to do with dark magic or some pagan ceremony that takes over the town and consumes its people, but I will proly have to play to be able to tell u how this worked out in the end and in binding the whole game together.

Anyhow.. I think that since the last installment from the SH team kinda sucked, with only ONE damn difficult boss and a stupid linear and non cohesive story, maybe this time horror fans will get their favorite chills and screams.

If u want a full review on the game u can get it here: http://uk.xbox360.ign.com/articles/108/1087833p1.html

I'll get back to u once I have it in my hands :)
