Has Valve put us on HOLD??

Published 2011-04-03 by CommanderAirreck.

Whats going on with Valve and Half life 2: Episode 3, have they hit a writers block? Have they had technical difficulties with the Source Engine? Or maybe perhaps they are letting the anticipation grow to it's highest potential.

Seriously, Valve has put out 2 new games (Left 4 Dead and Portal) within the last couple years and almost have sequels for BOTH of them (just finishing up Portal 2), but what's that I hear, they're remaking the very famous DotA game.

I mean, Thank you to Garry, and his well known Garry's Mod (a sandbox using a variety of Valve games' materials (if you own them) to give you endless building, fighting or comical possibilities. It's the only thing that keeps me from insanity.

Tell me what you think about this topic, either in the poll or make a comment. I'd love to hear what your opinion on this.

This is my first blog and I need some help, how the hell do I change my profile photo, I keep trying to but it says the file is corrupt/ isn't compatible, let me know!!!!!

To RadicalMisnamer
sorry, what did you mean by lawsuit?

I'm actually currently into the Infinity Ward and Activision lawsuit right now. I earlier was into the Bethesda and Interplay lawsuit quite awhile ago. Kind of wondering how things are going to turn out though. For both companies.

Damn, i feel that's a bit of a let down (knowing that Valve only care about money, especially since in their "Developer Commentary" always pushes forward the connection/relationship between the AI and the player :(. Just caring about making money is something i'd except from a company like "Infinity Ward". Thanks for your input though.

I feel they have as Valve is currently going for what gets them money, not fans. They're probably losing a majority of their fanbase due to not giving any information on the release of the episode. No footage. No news. No consideration to acknowledge rumors. Just sequels of games which we do not care about.
