Here are the results of the Clan Leadership Transfer poll and thread from May.

Note: The "No Action Taken" poll option was added 24 hours after the poll began. Of the users that responded before it was added, many chose "Other" and explained in their posts that they wanted no action taken. 29 of these posts clearly stated this, therefore 29 votes were subtracted from "Other" and added to "No Action Taken."
These are the most popular and feasible ideas from the thread:
Delete the clan and all of its possessions. This is the simplest and fastest method, but offers no mercy to players that may feel affected by the loss of a clan leader. It is ideal for players involved in the fallout to address these matters themselves.
Leadership should go to the assigned sub-leader. This would involve a clan system redesign by the developers.
Large clans should let the next clan leader be determined by rankings in the Guard/Knight system. It is very similar to the sub-leader suggestion.
Vote on a new leader. This would involve remaining clan members casting their vote to NCsoft, and a GM transferring the leadership after the vote is decided.
Transfer leadership back to the previous clan leader. This suggestion easily fits into some of the suggestions above.
The status of this debate at NCWest:
After the poll and feedback thread closed, the team discussed this matter extensively. We are examining the possibility of revising the clan system. We will not implement a permanent policy until we have exhausted all other possibilities.

I post before about this on GamerBlogz when the poll was up, http://gamerblogz.com/blog/Bob/2010/05/14/transferring-clan-leadership-after-ban/.
Now we have a statistic from that poll.
